We're on a mission to
to modernize and educate all health institutions in the diagnosis and therapy of lymphoma

In addition, SLG provides active support and assistance in the education of experts from Serbia, advocates for the standardization of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and members of SLG are involved in various research projects and clinical trials. An important segment of the SLG’s activities is the facilitation of local and international exchange of experiences in the treatment of lymphoma, through professional meetings and symposia.

So far, SLG has published multiple educational materials intended for the general population, guides for the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma, brochures, and instructions for the early detection of lymphoma, primarily for primary healthcare physicians, as well as educational booklets for lymphoma patients and their families. One of the most significant projects of SLG is the development of an electronic registry for lymphomas.

Over the past years, there has been exceptional collaboration with leading global experts in the field of hematology and lymphoma, who served as lecturers at professional meetings.

Over the past decade (2006-2016), 27 doctors defended 32 master’s theses, doctoral dissertations, subspecialty works in the field of lymphoma, and we can boast numerous participations in international congresses, domestic congresses, as well as publications in the field of lymphoproliferative diseases in domestic and international journals.

Our doctors had the opportunity to gain professional expertise abroad in the field of lymphoma (Cologne, University Clinic, AKH Clinic Vienna, Belincon Institute for Oncology).
